Hello Everyone,
This jetty is just off to the left of Elizabeth St Wharf in Hobart, Tasmania and I saw it on my way back from Salamanca Place. The ferry itself was really interesting and dare I say cute? What really got me about this composition though was the cool ferry, the sign saying ‘Captain Fell’s Historical Ferries’ and the tallships in the background. For me it really summed up what the whole place was about. Charm, character and history! I could walk around in Hobart for a couple of weeks just shooting away and not run out of subjects to capture. If you’ve not seen them yet Mark Stothard is currently posting some great landscape photography shots of Tasmania. Go and check them out.

For those of you who are hitting Karijini I hope you have an awesome time and get up there and back safely. I can’t wait to see the photos when you all get back.
Thanks,
Jamie Paterson
