Stationary Motion

Hi Everyone,

For me there is just nothing like standing there and watching the ocean move around stationary objects.   It looks like the ocean isn’t doing the rocks or other things any damage but we all know that the ocean always wins.  Every time!   Its also just so relaxing listening to the waves crashing onto the rocks and then listening to it sliding back off the beach.   I could seriously watch and listen to that same motion all day long.

In Sydney I used to live right on the beach and it was great being able to leave the windows open each night and let the ocean sing me to sleep.  I remember that I used to sleep so deeply each night.   In the Navy the ocean used to rock me to sleep all night though in the Southern Ocean she could be a bit rude and would throw me out of bed when I least expected it.

So where am I going with all this?   Its simple, I’m just obsessed by the ocean.  I hope you guys enjoy the photo.

    Nice light, Jamie. I like this one. Good composition, well processed, etc. One of your best of recent times, but of course that is only in my opinion 😉

      Thanks for that mate. I’ve been sitting on this one for a few months and it just caught my eye tonight. Funny how photos grow on us isn’t? 🙂

    Been a busy boy, I love this shot I think it looks great, althought I don’t think I’ve seen one of your shots that I don’t like. I’m a bit like you and just love the beach, waterfalls, everything water it’s just so peaceful.

    Can’t wait to see your exibition, how exciting for you and True North Mark.
