Simplicity

lancelin sand dunes, black and white, australian landscape photography, australian landscape photographer,

Hi Everyone,

This is another shot that I managed to get while tearing around in the Lancelin sand dunes the other night.   Beau and I were driving along in between some dunes when this scene opened up in front of us.   It caught our attention because of the simple composition that it presented, needless to say we both jumped out of the car and started to shoot away.   When you see shots like this appear in front of you, you just know that we landscape photographers have the best job in the world.  We had to use a number of light sources to get this shot as Mark Stothard didn’t leave any moonlight behind for us from his visit up there a few nights ago.   (Since posting this, I have lightened up the top left hand corner and it looks stacks better).

Hope everyone has a great long weekend!

Great shot Jamie and the simplicity works for sure!

My wife said it would look great if there was a bug on one of the grasses! She’s a funny girl my girl!

      Hi Mark,

Thanks for that. Yes it would’ve be a great find to have a bug on there. I was just glad there was no mossies around.
