Port Beach Splash

port beach australian wave surf photography photographer fremantle

Hi Everyone,
I srpung out of bed at 7:30am (instead of 5am like I was supposed to!) and decided to head down to the beach to have a dip and grab a few wave photos.  I’m so glad I did, it was beautiful.   Melissa and Xavier chilled out in the sand whilst I got some pretty cool shots as the waves were breaking onto the beach.   Its a shame that winter is fast approaching, there is nothing like waking up in the morning and heading off down to the beach.    Hope you guys are all enjoying the weekend so far.

Thanks for stopping by and checking my blog out,

Jamie Paterson

Another ripper Jamie, You must be still digging sand out of places you never thought it would end up.

      Hi Peter,

Thank you very much. Appreciate the comments. You are so right about the sand it gets in EVERYWHERE.

      Hi Matt,

Its at Sandtracks. Not sure who Brock Little is. Clark Little perhaps? The waves weren’t big enough to do any Clark Little type stuff.

You were nearly high & dry when you took the shot! LOL
Put on a pair of fins and swim out into a 2m surfbreak, lot less sand!

      Hi Tim,

I certainly was high and dry! Problem with Perth is that during summer a lot of the waves break directly onto the beach. As winter comes along sand banks build up further out and we start to get decent surf further out. Guess I’ll just have to keep up the exfoliation sessions until then. LOL.

Love the photo, which beach is it? I was over in Perth last September. Also went down the swan river to freemantle.

    You have some stunning photography.

Great shot Jamie, smashing effort for the smaller Perth beach breaks. Have you housed ur DSLR, or is that actually from a small waterproof outfit?
