North Cotteloe Sunset

seascape photography, australian photographer, cottesloe beach, australian landscape photography

Last Friday night I decided to head down to North Cottesloe Beach to unwind and relax and of course to get some photos!  North Cottesloe was the best I’d seen in ages so I started to snap away.

It was such an beautiful evening, warmish for a winters day and there was almost no wind around.   The swell was really nice and these waves were just coming through every couple of minutes.  Simply sensational.

I noticed that the gold light was shining right through these waves so I threw on my 70-200mm lens and started banging away.  When I got home and saw this photo I was pretty ecstatic!

I hope you guys enjoy it.  How does it make you feel?

Thanks,

Jamie

Nice job from the shore with the 70-200. Love the colour of the light shining through that wave.

Hi Peta. Thank you. That is what I love about this shot, the blown glass / melting gold effect.

      Jamie
