Ningaloo Reef Aerial Photography

Hi Guys,

Just a short video from the GoPro HD camera that was stuck on my head while in the helicopter. If you want to jump straight to the Ningaloo Reef footage its at 5:15.

Check out how shiny and brand new the helicopter is! The boats you see on the reef are Whale Shark boats, unfortunately we didn’t see any from the air.

Thanks,

Jamie Paterson

I bet you looked cute with that camera strapped to your head and another glued to your eye.

Hi Andrew. You’re not wrong there. I think I could easily spend a month up there just taking photos from the air, under the water and of the surrounding area and still run out of time to capture everything. Have you been to Ningaloo?

Lived there for 6 months mate, travelled around Oz for a year + or so after Uni, spending a fair portion….that is where I first decided that I liked photography.

I really enjoyed that Jamie, can’t believe the waves coming through! Might have to track down some of those one day.

      Hey Col,

No problems mate. The pilots said the swell didn’t happen like that very often. Not sure why.
