It All Starts Here

kings park perth australian landscape photography macro

You know the more complicated life gets the less we remember to stop and look at the really simple things in life.    Often the simple things are the things that bring us the most pleasure.  A child’s laugh, a hug from our loved ones, watching a sunrise and sunset can often be much more rewarding than driving around in the latest car or living in the biggest house.

I set out on Saturday morning with a massive panoramic shot in mind but due to the fog and haze from fire I couldn’t get it.  I was about to go home without a shot when I started to take a really good close look at the plants and then I saw all these water droplets on them.   I was mesmerised and spent the next 2hrs shooting them.   This is the very mechanics of life.   The plants absorbing CO2 for us and of course we all need water.   I walked away a much happier and calmer person on Saturday after spending some time enjoying the simple things in life.

    Good stuff mate.

    Get rid of the panos.

Why do with three shots what you van do with one.

      Hi James,

Thanks for the comment mate. I still love my panos but I agree simple compositions are really cool as well.

      Jamie
