Geordie Bay Rottnest

geordie bay, rottnest, rotto, australian landscape photography, aerial photography

Hi Everyone,

I can’t believe this photo was taken almost a year ago.  How time flies!   A friend of mine is an amazing artist and she was really excited about the idea of hiring a helicopter and heading out to Rottnest to get some shots of it.   We spend just under an hour over Rottnest and she had an absolute blast.

We specifically headed over on Easter Saturday as we figured that there would be stacks of boats over at the island and we certainly weren’t disappointed.   I’m thinking about heading back over there again soon, this time on a less cloudy day.

Thanks,

Jamie Paterson

Wow nice one Jamie, makes that big bay look so small!

      Hey Ben,

That for that mate. Got to admit Rottnest really doesn’t look that big from the air and it seems twice as bit if you’re riding around it on a bike.

Hi Jamie….If you need a passenger to share the costs, let me know. Have been meaning to get aerials of Rotto for quite some time.

    Cheers

      Hi Sandy,

I’ll let you know for sure. I’ll probably do another run around Easter time again. I’m also considering doing a run over the Abrohlos Island if you’re interested.

Easter sounds good and Abrohlos would be awesome….would need to get an idea of costs but definitely interested. 🙂

Aerial photography is the best, you will love the Abrohlos Islands.
