Gantheaume Point Broome

I’m really very proud of this shot.  Its a 15 shot panoramic photo of Gantheaume Point in Broome.  5 shots wide with 3 levels of focus stacking to ensure the photo was razor sharp throughout.

It was stinking hot when I took this shot, something like 35 degrees and it took close to 25mins to complete it.  I drove straight home after this and had the longest shower as I was soo sweaty!  Ewww!

No trip up to Broome would be complete without heading across to Gantheaume to check out the spectacular red colours.   Its a 5min drive out of town and I could spend literally hours shooting there.  Go at the right time of year and you can see dinosaur foot prints at low tide as well.  Very cool.

Thanks,

Jamie

Thanks Tim. I could quite easily live up there for a few months. I’d prefer to hit the Whitsundays though.
