East Perth Serenity

I absolutely love shooting around this area, I’ve done tons of fashion shoots around here because you can go to one location and have a stack of different backgrounds without having to go anywhere.   Everytime I go down here I see something new to shoot.   Anyhow, I decided to pick up the camera yesterday (Saturday) afernoon and try and get an evening shot of East Perth and I must admit I’m really pleased with the results.   Again the 1Ds MkIII picked up so much detail that its incredible.   I’m not sure how to make this picture bigger in wordpress though, so that I can show the detail.

I’d like to get an early morning shot of this place as well so if anyone is interested in catching up this coming Saturday morning for a shoot down here let me know.

Nice collection of images Jamie. I took one similar a coupe of years ago but sold the rights to the East Perth Redevelopment Corp, so its about time I revisited the area for a reshoot. How about early next week we head down one morning?

    Hi Neal,

Thanks for the positive comments. I was starting to stress as I hadn’t captured anything decent for ages. I would definitely like to catch up but if its an early morning shoot I will have to do it on a weekend as I start work early.

When is good for you? We could probably grab a coffee afterwards.

LOL Neal. I think my wife would be happier if we were to head off to Thailand rather than California. Anyhow like I said, we might get lucky and have a stack of wicked clouds with heaps of colour and no rain. If we don’t go we’ll never know.
