Cable Beach Sand Patterns

sand patterns, cable beach broome, landscape photography, australian landscape photography

Has it really been almost a week since I’ve left Broome?   Its been such a crazy and busy week that I still haven’t sat down and looked at all my photos from Broome just yet, but you can bet I will be checking them out this weekend.   Its always fun checking out photos from a trip, not only because of the fact that you’ll hopefully be able to create some great images, but also because it helps you reflect on what an amazing place you have just visited.

Cable Beach for me was just so awesome.  I could easily spend all Winter up there and just shoot her many moods.   It was fun to watch so many people having so much fun and it really did seem to be an integral part of the town, life really seemed to revolve around it.

Anyway, onwards and upwards as they say.  Time to start planning even more amazing trips to far away and exotic places.   Has anyone else been to Broome?

Hi Mark. Thanks for the compliment mate. I spent a good two hours just walking around capturing these sand patterns.

Nice one Jamie – almost looks like a flower stencil of some sort….
Yep Broome is a pretty nice spot, I’d love to get back there some day too.

    cheers,

Hey Tony. That is what struck me about them. They looked like lots of little flowers. Melissa captured some that looked like dragonflys.

i’ve never been to broome, i bet it’s nice though
that’s an interesting photo, is that just sand?

      Hi Chloe,

It is just sand. There are tiny little crabs that live in the sand and each day they push the sand out of their hole creating these amazing patterns.

Hi Sandy. Thanks for that, I’ve got heaps more of them as they are just all up and down the beach.

Cool shot Jamie, I too thought it looked the the start of a flower being drawn, very neat.

      Hi Andrea,

I’ve got a few more of these which I will put up over the week. So when are you coming out on a shoot with ‘the boys’ again?

      Jamie

        Hey Jamie,

Anytime that you’ll have me. I don’t like to ask too much cause I know everyone is busy but I’m up for it whenever anyone wants me to come.
        when are “the boys” free?
