Hi Everyone,
About six weeks ago I did a quick run down to Balingup and then Nannup as I’d been really keen to discover the Balingup to Nannup Rd.
It was as if I was in a landscape photographer’s heaven with scenes like this presenting themselves every couple of minutes down the road. I believe normally it only takes about 20mins to traverse the road but it took me 2.5hrs as I had to keep getting out and capturing the magic.
This was an 8 image stitch using my 50mm lens and then stitched together using PTGUI.
If you ever get the chance to drive down this road, make sure you do. You won’t regret it. I’d love to hear your comments on this photo.
Thanks,
Jamie Paterson

Sweet shot mate…gotta love the highlights!
Thanks very much mate. Yeah I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out and having clouds is a bonus isn’t?
Jamie
You just have know where to look for the clouds eh!
Nice one Jamie, Tasmania is pretty similar sot of landscape and conditions. Hard to shoot at times!
Hi Tim. Thanks for that mate. The hardest thing I found about shooting in Tassie was actually trying to find spots on the side of the road where I could pull over!
Yep, that is a common problem i have down there!
Especially in the North West corner around the mountains!
Jamie

Nice image Jamie, gotta love the dappled light.
Hi Ben. Thanks very much mate, I love that term ‘dappled light’ and yes that is what attracted me to the scene.
