And so it begins!!!

Hi Everyone,

Well my 16 day photography trip is finally here (well it will be in the morning) and I’m damn excited!   My first 10 days will be spent with Neal and Kirk travelling down the Great Southern part of the state and the Stirling Ranges getting all sort of landscape photographs.   The second part of my trip will be six days down at Dunsborough taking photos of the area and keeping the place warm and photographyically loved while Christian is away. 🙂

Neal, Kirk and I are mainly focusing on Esperance and the Stirling Ranges but we have 10 days to drift where ever we want.  Woo Hoo.

Now for the above photo it was taken at Redgate Beach in Margaret River and its another favourite landscape photograph of mine.   Again when taking this it was in between showers just like the last Redgate Beach photo.  Hope you like it.

Anyhow, I’ll be keeping you all updated as to where we are during the trip so stay tuned.

Thanks for reading,

Jamie Paterson

Great shot Jamie. I like the minimalistic look.

I spend a fair bit of time in the MR region and I would have to say that Redgate Beach is one of my favourite spots. I went there a couple of times last weekend (both morning and late afternoon) but haven’t got around to processing my shots yet.

Also went to Indijup and got some great early morning shots (but you almost need to be a mountain goat to get in the good spots!) The Roos (not Nth Melb)seem to be very active this year – I nearly hit about 4 in Sunday morning predawn.

Where was my invite? Haha, I wish I was closer to WA, I’ve heard it’s got some of the most amazing sceneries in Australia. I’ve been there a few times but not since I’ve been into photography so my eyes weren’t open (so to speak).

Looking forward to your updates 🙂

    Hi Everyone,

Its been a great trip so far. Lots of great locations and lots of great light. We are still in Esperance but this is our last night here. We are getting up for a final Esperance morning shoot in the morning and then we are heading off to Albany.

Hope everyone is well and having fun in …. yawn…. Perth.
